What is the "World Brands Club"?
We have created "World Brands Club" as a community center for the brandsoftheworld.com site fans, who want to help the project and are interested in it's further development.
Why "World Brands Club"?
brandsoftheworld.com site is one of the most visited web sites intended for search, browse and exchange of the World's famous brand-logos.
It is not a surprise that development, hosting and maintaining brandsoftheworld.com of the site requires lots of resources - fast server hardware, tuned software, and time, of course. There are couple of tasks (check & validate new logos, solve copyright & usage problems/conflicts) to keep it live and nice. And we do that for more than 5 years.
As for January, 2007 we have:
- more than 100.000 logotypes in vector formats;
- more than 1 million page views and up to 60.000 visitors daily;
- several terrabytes of traffic monthly;
- more than 15.000 users, who visit site at least several times per week;
- more than 250 active contributors (logotype authors, digitizers), who upload up to 100 new brands every day;
- ... and a lots of people around the world, who use the project for their work, who are interested in this project, who wants to keep it live.
