Releasing records over the past 18 years by such seminal bands as the Pixies, Dead Can Dance, Throwing Muses & Kristin Hersh, Belly, Colourbox,Cocteau Twins,This Mortal Coil,The Breeders, GusGus, His Name Is Alive & Bauhaus. 4AD is also notable for the quality of it's design and packaging, mainly due to the work of design company v23.
