Interesting idea, but I think that the Black color it is to strong... try your first version with the 1 with 100% black

less black is better , not so massive fonts ....that's the best version, but is place for better.

Just a quick question - I see that it's graphic design/printing, and I'm assuming you're printing digital, right? But the colors displayed here are RGB- which is used on tv and computer screens- not printing. Digital printing uses CMYK so maybe you should use those colors instead somehow? Maybe it's too late in the development process to change colors, but I thought I'd toss it in there!

agree to place the 100% black, and also you would find it cool down a bit the word colors.
