Sorry- There is just too much going on here. All the gradients etc. I would simplify this and be a bit more creative with the use of the chain link.

Wire clipart with a drop shadow and some gradients in the lettering and some more drop shadows. Man... go buy some books on graphics and logo design and read them, heck, don't need to read them, just look at the pictures. You will get it eventually.
