The only thing they wanted was to have the name of the company, the rest was at my discretion
New logo for my work place. They changed the name to Aresta Periférica (it's in portuguese but it means: Peripheral Edge)

Sorry but this is not working at all. From the symbol to the choice f font and general composition, nothing works. There's no idea, the colors are super dull and way too close value-wise and the word mark overlapping the simplistic symbol makes it hard to read. It definitely lacks research, inspiration and sketching.
