Brief from client
Ballet Classico de Tapachula is a Ballet School in Mexico, this january is the 30 years anniversary, and wants a redesign of the brand.
The client wants a logo that reflect the 30years old experience of teaching ballet but with a feeling of innovation, beacuse now the school has a new generation of young teachers.
The clint also wants an acronym BCT, like ABT (American Ballet Theather) cos he thinks the name is too large. and wants a shorter name.

You need some space between Ballet and Classico. I would take out the gold BCT altogether and work more on the symbol you used on the top. Make it larger and more elegant. Definitely work a "30" in there if that's what it is for. You have something to start with there.
Sorry I missed that the client wanted an acronym. That one just doesn't feel elegant.. like the feeling Ballet should give you.
Thanks so much! you are right I forgot the space between Ballet and Clasico.
About the acronym, the client is happy with the result. Im a design information student, and maybe im wrong, i dont have much experience but i feel the typography of the acronym makes the logo kind of modern, (i know there are others modern types, but i dont wanna be so RAD, coz my client is a Ballet School..) the Typography of Ballet Clasico de Tapachula makes it elegant and classic.. Do you think im wrong?
Im happy to receive critics and to have a discussion, it will help me a lot to grow up as a designer!!
If the client likes it, its your luck, but the lack of experience really shows. You shouldnt force capital letters like this with Clasico and Tapachula. The B is out of place all the way, the dancer symbol is way too small, there is no relation between forms, we could go on. Learn the trade first and go back to the drawing board, keep experimenting, keep drawing.
I think the 30 years is hard to read. The symbol is too small. Overall too many elements and it's a bit confusing. I don't like that green for ballet or a dance company at all. It doesn't fit together in my brain. :)
agree, it looks very complicated at all and too many typefaces are used, and its logo is not visible,,,
I see the next logo.
Your clients lived with their existing logo for 30 years. Their old graphic mark is fine and can stand the test of time. Rethink how you can modernize it and start over.
If you can't come up with a good simple & clean idea, check some logo inspiration websites, maybe that will help you..
