Brief from client
We would like to somehow incorporate the swiss cross into the logo.
The logo should be serious projecting trust and wealth
Banc de Swiss is a consumer facing trading platform for trading stocks, indexes, commodities and etc.

Personally i think it works. The gradient on the top one obviously isn't needed but it looks good. The graphic mark is also relevant and quite neat.

I like how it looks, but i agree with lorewren about the symbol. That's what i thought when i first looked at it. Maybe twitch it a little?
I think u have to do sometnig more with white cross in that red flag(if its flag..), cause balace missling there. and probably some second color....
Overall, I think this works very well. Not sure if I completely understand the triangle ... I get a sail. Your drop shadow is so subtle it isn't bothersome.
symbol it too poor… colors and typo aren't the best for a bank brand...i think.
i suggest you work with two different color and give more focus at the swiss flag .
I agree with lorewren, it's feel so medical.
You can try show the "Swiss" idea in another shape that's don't remember directly airplanes or medical.
