A new logo for the XML-BlackBox software site: http://xml-blackbox.de/
I kept the black cube idea and used their primary colors, black and orange.
Brands of the World is the home for the largest library of freely downloadable vector logos, yearly logo awards celebrating the best identities and a logo critique community.

This symbol is sooo overused. Every other logo contains it. The typography is really weak, this letter spacing bothers the eye. Don't rape the fonts, they deserve a better life:) Also you have to think the font size over or change the size of the box because now they are not in ballance at all. I like the retro colors but I don't like that the whole logo has the feeling of a computing company from the early 80's.

This isn't a terrible symbol, but it sure is something that we see ALL the time (as fernando pointed out already) - it's nothing original or eye-grabbing. I also don't like how faded the colors are- it looks like something that's been sitting out in the sun for a week. Other than that, the font maybe isn't the best choice, and it's not perfectly kerned either.
Maybe start over with a new idea!?
