Clipper collector

Brief from client

d.ExClipper

I've started collecting Clipper lighters some months ago and yesterday I created a page on Instagram where I'm going to post some photos and stuff related to my collection... Só, I wanted to do a "logo" for my page, I know it's nothing important, but I would like to know your opinion about it.

I see you worked on the flames- the only problem is it's obvious the two outer parts of the flame are duplicated. Flames are not symmetrical, it will look better if they are more varied. Look at some other illustrations of flames.

And I still say ditch those inside lines above 20 and 17. Will look cleaner without them.

I know that flames are not symmetrical, I've looked at a lot of illustrations but I could not stand something that was not symmetric, it felt unbalanced all the way. I will ditch the lines above 20 and 17 but I have to find something merely decorative to "fill" that zone, because it feels really empty with 20 and 17 only.

I agree with joy. Definitely get rid of those lines. I think the flame could stay symmetrical since it isn't supposed to be a realistic depiction of fire, but experiment with making one side a bit shorter.

I'll get rid of the lines! :) Yes, I agree with you, it's not supposed to be that realistic, is more like a stylization of flames.
