this logo was made for "El sotano studios", the translation to english is "The basement studios", and its a music, photography, radio, and media production studio in Peru

i considered the steps to "the basement" and a light behind the door (kinda mysterious)

Nothing says 'music studio' in this, your icon shows steps to the basement and a door, pretty good for showing direction to where studio is but not a really memorable or 'music' significant graphic mark, it looks depressive at most.
Your color scheme is a bit boring and dull I would suggest you use brighter & warmer, inviting colors.
thanks for your critique, but i forget to say that its not only a music studio...and maybe that would change de scenario ...i gonna correct that in the description..

Your new description makes things different. You can unify all in one tagline - media production studio. But... I still think your graphic mark is too complex and not on the right path.
In many cases it's impossible to make a graphic mark that will reflect what your clients do so you have to play on something else. Playing on 'basement' here is a valid option but I think you need to simplify it to make it stronger and more memorable, change your color scheme and probably re-think the whole composition. Try to play with this some more, you may find a better solution.
yeah for course, even i gave to my client 3 diffrente concepts, but he suggested the colors scheme, the tagline and he acept the idea of the "steps", luckily for me he was pleased for the logo and their clients too...
and...so... there are a lot of ideas..here and there...but at the end of the day, the customer decides.
