Brief from client
A simple logo to incorporate a Lehigh Valley icon with the name of the website.
I wanted something that would incorporate the Moravian Star of Bethlehem as it is a part of the Lehigh Valley are of Pennsylvania. I tried to keep it simple as it would be used on the website, business cards, and modified for Twitter and Facebook icons.

What is wrong with the symbol? It's just a Moravian Star which is the symbol for one of the cities in the Lehigh Valley area, Bethlehem, PA. (http://www.dekra-lite.com/product_images/c/2d_moravian_star_blue_480__08...). Thanks for the feedback!

Your logo looks fine. Nothing groundbreaking but you said it yourself, you wanted to keep it simple.
It's very Xmas-y, which I think is on purpose.
