FIFA World Cup Russia 2018

Cesar, I don't really need a lecture from you on the World's most popular game : being myself a professional goalie over twenty years plus relentlessly watching every World Cup from 1966 till 2014 and looking up at every logo/mascot that has been created for every tournament plus my excellent knowledge of teams, players, coaches and etc. Firstly, all these logos that you have posted in your reply are not related in any way to a World Cup - they are confederations tournaments. Secondly, they are all made and composed the same with birds, butterflies that stocked in a square with a tiny ball in a top right corner that looks as a golf ball. What are all these representatives from animal world have to do with a football/ soccer??? Are they really symbolize any country as a symbol for a sporting event - not a ZOO exhibit or botanical garden? Thirdly, let me ask you a question : " What is in your opinion is a real symbol of Russia minus vodka, bear, matryoshka, samovar - that you might know of to connect to World Cup event that the whole World will be watching in 2018? " I seriously doubt that you will come up with a legitimate answer on your own. If I would give you a pencil and a paper and put you in a room for a day to come up with a symbol of Russia for a World Cup - you would end up with nothing. So, enjoy watching birds, butterflies... Those are good for philatelic. Buy yourself stamps with them at your local post office.Cesar, log on your computer to see World Cup logos of the past and you might find one from 20 previously being played that truly reflects a country at a first glance without reading a title. Tell me which one is that? I already know which one. One from 20 - that is a horrible result. Enough said...
