Figures & Physiques

Brief from client

Required a new logo that appeals to a high-income demographic; the business is a gym, fitness center & personal training.

My first comment is that FIGURES & PHYSIQUES isn't centered under Johnnie Morant. Secondly, is this a men's only gym? If the blue is to represent women and the black to represent men, I think it gets a bit muddled. Also, the extended arm seems a bit disproportionate. I don't dislike this, but it didn't make me say "yeah!"

My first comment was going to be about alignment as well. Also, not a fan of the subtext- or maybe just the amount of space between subtext and title. I think that can be closed in a bit tighter.
From a female perspective, the symbol is a major turnoff. Unless, as said above, this is an all male gym. It looks like 1/2 body builder and 1/2 ballet dancer. It does not appeal to me, and I don't believe it will appeal to many other female targets. And the "feminine" (blue) side may not appeal to men either. I think the symbol is where you should focus on reworking this, then make the refinements to your type accordingly.

The symbol is very interesting and would gain to be more prominent. Right now it's way too discreet.
