Brief from client 

Ficticious gamer blog or gamer community.

My gut is saying ditch this logo...I cant quite get it to look 'right'.

I have zero confidence in my judgement at the moment. Hopefully this will develop with time and experience.

In the meantime i'm finding outside opinions super helpful.

Thanks manuelneves. yes yours looks nice, I was worried if I made 'classy' very thin that it would turn invisible.

I will spend some time exploring typo

Hi Jane.
I prefer the first version. I was more high tech. And the colored ball gave the final touch. I agree with manuelneves about the font. Looking for a different font. You can search in www.dafont.com
Unfortunately I did not like this version, it was too "heavy" because it is only black and white, mainly black box that I found to be out of context.
