I believe the "i" symbol is too thin & complex for the typeface and doesn't come across well enough to the eye, which ends up making it difficult to recognize. The other aspects of the design are good!
Yeah, the 'i' basically disappears when reduced. On the thumbnail I couldn't even see it. The font you chose for the subtext is really plain as well. I kind of think you should consider picking a new main font as well- it's so thin. But even if you decide to keep the main text font, I think you should pick something else for the subtext- that one is SO boring. Maybe pick another font, bump the size up a half pt and try all caps stretched across the width of Garnier?
