GC heating services

Brief from client

I want GC (initials to look like copper pipes interlocked), the typography and so forth is up to the designer.

I am new to using typography so i decided to place this one there to get feedback and recommendations on it. Let me know what needs changing and if any of it works, Gradients colour type etc.

Thanks.

Seeing as though the previous one wasn't working and the client was asking for something too specific. I have decided to go with a whole new concept. Let me know if it is working (or on its way). ;-)

The colors are better and so is the front choice. Although the kerning is odd. I would go in the same direction (sans serif) but with a different font.

You may want to go with a warmer color palette, since this is for a heating company.

In my opinion, the GC you had before worked better, this one is getting too complicated and hard to read.

Again, be careful with placement, even if it is subconscious, you don't want the viewer to read "Cheating Services".

This interlocking pipe idea is so obnoxious I can't see straight. I probably would have fired the client if they weren't open to other designs. But, I commend you for hacking away at it.

Thanks you've brought up many good points. Personally I feel the previous GC was a bit too amateurish in comparison to the newer one although i will probably have to revise this one. In looking back at it the colours definitely need to change also, I had never thought of that.

Sigh, I tend to choose my clients carefully and would never agree to work for a client like this.
Interlocked copper pipes.... I presume he is a plumber and he wants all his illiterate clients to see pipes on his business card along with a sign saying 'plumber' so there is no mistaking him for a rocket scientist.

I can only wish you good luck with this.
Whatever you manage to do, even this logo you presented here, will be great.
