Need some help with colors. Any advice?

You didn't listen the last time i gave advice why start now. The text is still too close to your logo.

Question...

Why does the symbol read "GD" if your text is "Diseno Grafico?" Also not liking the bright color gradient.

I'm really not feeling this. I can't read anything out of the symbol, other than it looks like a razor blade. All the elements are cramped against each other, with no room to breath.

I would loved to keep this design because was the first idea it came to me with the first letters of my name and Graphic Design when I started the designer career some years ago, unfortunately I will try to work different icon and type but same idea. Thank you guys for your advices. Soon I will upload another design for critique.
