Brief from client
This logo is for a hip hop label that is kind of goofy with its beats with a fun lay back style of beats.
put the face up behind the yellow letters and put a brown outline??? around the letters and face.

I like everything except the brown stroke around everything feels too thick. The design would look great on a brown shirt though!

Sorry, but I don't have a lot of nice things to say about this one.... except I do like the goofiness and fun feel to it. I think you hit the nail on the head with that one and the colours are good as well. So I'll give you thumbs up on Idea and colours. Now the bad news.... the lettering looks like big puffy yellow marshmallows with black nipples. The "B" in beats looks more like a "P". Also, maybe I'm being a little picky here, but you've pictured a chimpanzee and the company name is Gorilla. A small detail, no?
