Is place for better about the colors and typography, but what bothers me is the scissors that overlap "ward" making me read GoodStew and something undefined. Incorporate the scissors somehow different or get rid of them.

Yeah, I don't think the scissors fit well enough into the text area that you're trying to fit it into. It just doesn't quite work. I'd either leave it off completely and have a really simple logo, work on an entirely new idea, OR maybe use the scissor shape for the 't' in Steward and see if that works!?
