I think your idea is ok, but execution has some issues. It feels like the tagline text isn't centered (or should be same width as name above). And that M- poor thing looks squished, which is emphasized by the outline.

I won't go into detail with where my mind went at first glance with the name and the middle symbol.....that may just be my dirty mind. But you may want to really consider how you lay those letters out- jus sayin'.

Yes I know, These are some other ideas that I was working with. This is the first rough draft and I've left it for a few days to re-think it over.

I like the idea behind this but the end result isn't great. It needs to be drastically simplified. Negative space might work wonders here.
