I'm still running through drafts of this logo.
The biggest critique I'm looking for is on the cross/ "I". Is it completely illegible, or do you guys think it works
HUGE difference compared to the previous version, which means this is a great improvement.
I was going to suggest for you to change the sun to earth-looking but upon searching international church logos, I found out it was too common.
I think the church needs to look more like a church. You have a load of color scheme here. Usually, 2 or 3 colors on a logo is a standard amount because it's easier to convert to B & W.
The black and white version was going to be as simple as this, so I pushed color boundaries just a tad.
I see what you mean. I was thinking that you would still add a color on the middle sun waves.
Maybe aligning the left side of "I" to the center like the top sun ray would make it more symmetrical.
I'll be honest here. I still don't see any "international" symbolism aside from "I", but I think this logo works for your client.
Thats the big thing here.
They want to avoid:
Crosses ( I'm breaking this rule, but subtly)
They gave me the words Diverse, Developing, and Deep to go off of.
They're turning their "church" into more of a spiritual center, and trying to shed stigmas that surround really religious churches.
The first idea they asked for was a monogram with an "i" in the middle of a circle, so I'm doing my best to expand on it.
