Brief from client
To create a brand identity for a cyclists coffee shop.
It will be a coffee shop for cyclists to meet for a coffee before and after rides.
Cycling - Coffee - Banter - Trendy
After doing some research on current cycling apparel it become evident that the current trend/style is retro and trendy so this is the route i decided to go down.
I wanted to find a way to incorporate all elements - Cycling - Coffee - Jersey.
This was one of the options that i came up with.
I have put some other brand elements together that include kit designs as this is something they will have. I will post a picture in the comments below later of this.
Any feedback welcome - thanks :)

Here's a screenshot of some of the other options and designs that i have been working on
Thanks for the comments guys.................
I am not fond of the complex design, the x shaped thing. Way too much going on. The bike with the words is more than enough and I like that. The orange and red works very well, but I have never been fond of light blue and blood red. The green is okay, but I think the orange and red is a winner.
I like the style of the orange shirt, and the simplified version of the logo with just the bike.
The main logo just has so much going on. - It is neat and all that, but there is a lot going on.
I'm not a designer but...
I liked the green one the best, the others have those too thin likes and too much details, I also found the green one more beautiful.
Hi,
first thing I noticed is that ' Rouleurs' is centered around a point sitting [ more or less] in the intersection of your 'X'. But 'Jersey' word is centered around different point sitting much lower. I think it makes all composition incoherent.
I like this 'X' idea but I agree with others-theres too much going on.
I like the clothing colors, I like the font, I like the clothing except the extreme right one- the graphic looks like a bib
So i like the idea, and i think i've seen it somewhere.
Although i think it looks fresh, i have to agree with the others ... i'm afraid there's too much going on in the center of your design
The X is such a common used symbol nowadays. It's getting pretty frustrating to see it pop up in so many designs
This 2013 article focuses in on that: http://blog.templatemonster.com/2014/01/07/websites-with-hipster-logos-s...
Maybe it's time to move on and give back the X to straight edge.
A logo with just typography would be great. I see you have done something like that in the profile picture of those FB pages, I'd go for something like that, you have the typographic skills to really deliver a strong logo like that.
