For a friend...I tried playing with J & G and even though I had various versions. I thought I do share this version.
New version. I hope its okay to swoop the letters because this way its makes more appealing look as compared to J first followed by G.
I'm new to the game. Not sure about these rules.

The business name reads Jilal graphics and the initials "GJ", you should try an option with reverse "JG"... also, would like to see another version in sans serif fonts.
Monogram should be according to name. You should design JG. GJ will not work though it fits better.
Indeed, the symbol should read JG, otherwise, it's confusing.
It's not that you absolutely can't inverse the two letters to create your symbol, but in this instance, the symbol is made for people to read G J. If it was done just to create a memorable shape and not too informative, maybe then it could work.
Yeah, I didn't even realize the letters were backwards again. Too bad, I really liked where this one was going too. I'd say to address that issue above everything else.
