LASIK Icon

Brief from client

"Icons I like line icons. with multiple colors and illustrative icons. Both are trendy in web design. Line icons might work best for CCFS
It is trendy for icons to have a circle in the background (not a circle around the icon but an illustrative icon with a circle in the background). Im not specifically looking for this, but this might give you other ideas.
Try to avoid using an eye for every icon"

So I've got 6 different eye care icons to make so I will try to upload each one I make.

For this one, I did a little bit of research and found out that the eye surgeons peel back the first layer of your eye and keep a bit still "hinged" on. They then start blasting with their laser and fold the top layer back in place.
The main circle in the back is to represent the "hinged" part unfolded, while the laser is "targeting" the eye.
There were a few negative connotations when I asked my peers about LASIK (it is surgery after all) so I decided to add a check mark to give a more positive vibe rather than a laser striking the eye.

Each icon will have the same colors and the offset color fill in if possible.

Thanks.

Can you please remove the link? Due to numerous spammy posts on a daily basis, we try not to have link outs toward commercial sites. Thanks!

Sorry, can you clarify the whole icon thing the client is asking for? Are they supposed to be used as logos or just a collection of pictograms?

These will be icons used solely within their website. So pictogram would be the right word. The rest of the icons are for Glaucoma, Retina Health, Cataracts, Dry Eyes and Other Eye Services. I know logo designs are usually critiqued here, but I figured icons would be acceptable as well.
