The colors do not feel like Japan. I can't make out what the circle and the k is supposed to mean. Is it a person who bows down?

ok, dont look on brief... if client looks on this dont know nothing about this...no restaurant , no sushi ...only japan stylize font.... And no sushi colors. Maybe more cartoon style, font like japan caligraphy and letter O both like a sushi look ?
