Brief from client
Create a logo for an organization that will help raise funds for a cause to assist other employees, this logo will be printed on t-shirts, badges, hats and pins. Organization name is LESA (Locally Employed Staff Association), this organization is funded by the American Embassy in Beirut.
Vector Logo designed for a local association founded in Beirut - Lebanon, in coordination with the American Embassy.
Colors and stars relate to the United States' flag and the Cedar tree relates to the Lebanese flag, creating a successful merge reflecting a strong existence and leadership. The initials LESA are introduced within the circle in white, giving it a clear readability using the dark blue background.

old style for me...
I like the middle part i think you should work more on the font and the outside part where the font is...the middle part i think is attractive tho....bit more work on this idea
I think it needs more lebanon effect
The idea works. Same with the colors...I mean Red, White and Blue, what are you going to do? I would try some different fonts and maybe thicken the circles up a bit. I might clean up the tree a bit, looks cleaner on the flag. At least on this flag --->
I think it's a good idea to combine the the two flags, but you need to make it simpler.
Doesn't work for me, it just resembles too many military emblems and logos like this one
