Media company "ventrix".
New startup, name originated from "venture".
Company will provide media strategy advice.
Revised version taking on previous comments. Looking for feedback on font choice, all comments welcome!
The only thing that is bothering me is the word Media being off center and not fitting into the design. I would completely remove the word. I'm curious to see what other people think of it.
Completely agree, thanks for pointing it out. It is centre aligned on illustrator, but the way the font works has thrown it to the left slightly. I'll sort that out, thanks for the feedback
With that light shadow it kinda reminds me to the Netflix "N" logo.
I know, the colour is different and that there is a white gap.
It's not bad or anything, just my wrecked brain says this. :)
Better but I'd still like to see that split going all the way to the bottom.
Now the font work is better. But is the name of the business just "Ventrix Media" or is there any other entities like I don't know "Ventrix Publishing" or "Ventrix Macaroons"? ;) Because if "Ventrix Media" is the only one and full name of that company, I think "media" shouldn't look like a subtext.
Also, the two fonts still don't really compliment each other.
I would switch the "Media" font to something closer to "Ventrix" more like a Eurostile Extended 2 font.
I like the V and would increase the differentiation in shading so it is more like what the Teebor posted with Netflix. To me the logos do not provoke a feeling of similarity.
Not sure if the square around the V is necessary, your call. But def switch out that bottom font and increase depth. IMO.
If you keep the square I would be tempted to open up the bottom - as you did with the top. EDIT: And - add some gradient shading to the square to match the V if possible, but subtly not cheesy.
