Brief from client
The logo is for an online gaming clan.
Urban terror is a multiplayer shooter game. Players age: 10-65.
The clan is like a club. Players split in 2 teams and shoot each other for fun and points.
On the website, members have access to chat, forum and statistics (skill, accuracy etc)
I noticed the critique section on this website is nice and I decided to register and see what you guys think about some of my works.
So here I am judges with the first logo.
I created some sort of medal hoping to fit with this: competition, energy, fun, love, hate.
After initial sketches, requested color was Red. Website has a dark grey background.
The logo is in the final stage. I'm very curious what u think :>

This is pretty good.
I agree with most of what my mate Shane said. But I think that given the context, the over abundance of lighting effects and gradients doesn't really bother me. It gives the idea of video gaming right away.
