A little bit of context, please?
At first glance with a thick outline it has that cookie cutter feel in it. I think that one oval around text would be more than enough, as the two crescent shape areas positioned diagonally above and below text are disturbing and take away a focus. I like how " ma " are designed in " maciel ", the rest of the letters need work. " e " should mirror image " a " to have that nice flow with " l ". Lower part of " l " would be better with a straight cut.Good start, would like to see more on this one

But it certainly doesn't look like a logo for a designer. But the OP doesn't seem interested in giving us any context or just even say hi. So I guess he also doesn't care what we have to say about his logo.

Well, though your logo doesn't look bad at all, I still thing it isn't what you would expect for a designer/web developer, etc. It looks a bit dated, the kerning is off and it globally look too corporate. It misses some kind of human touch.
The web button look is starting to get a little dated, however this is nicely done if only it were for a major brand, like packaged food or manufacturing company. For a designer, as the others have said, it does not seem appropriate. I heartily agree that it is missing the human touch needed.
And emglobar is now my new favorite word, I must thank you for that (not making fun, I just love that word, cheers).

No problem. I don't think you copied the logo on purpose, it's just a similar style. You won't be in any trouble if you use it anyway. If you feel you must change it, perhaps a simple color change would be enough to create a difference.
Very good point unterm rad and a sharp eye. Now " Barilla " might as well twist a roof of their stadium top after seeing this " maciel " concept here.

apart of that i think it's not too bad however i would drop the shadows and white transparency effect you have, it would look a lot better without the 3d effects i think :)
This logo looks more like logo for health care company. These type of concept are overused. This is not logo for Web and graphic design firms. Try using more modern idea and design.
