Brief from client
He is a residential contractor so no hard hats or anything like that. His deal is skill saws, ladders, hammers etc. So whatever graphic you could come up with and then add his information would be great.

The stylized hammer is a good idea. I do like the other one better.
Save this in your stockpile of ideas for when someone has an "A" name which the hammer is starting here already.
:)
Thanks Waffles. I'll keep it in the works for sure!
Pssst : F => wrench, do something about =)
Sorry, what? Are you saying use a wrench to look like an F?
No, just trying to give an idea conspicuously =)
Nice idea.
I like this one as well. It looks a lot more modern. I can already see it on a business card. :)
The hammer symbol is great. I would definitely send him both options.
I like this one much more than the saw blade. It is cleaner and more contemporary.
I thought this was a welding mask. I didn't see hammer instantly. MASSIVE improvement on the previous versions though.
I like Shawali's idea though.
i saw the welding mask as well or maybe a dagger :)
that's a very abstract hammer ! i love abstract though haha.
I like it overall, the only i would have to say is : frase and construction heights don't match.
Good improvement from the other versions
Interesting!
Nice usage of F and Hammer. Too curved and pointing on top, maybe that's why some saw it as a welding mask.
Yea this version has much more going for it.
I think you need to tweak the symbol a bit because ever since someone mentioning that it looked like an A thats all i can see! I think it needs to be a bit less curved at the top.
Im not keen on the font you have used. Thats just a personal opinion.
Overall though to me this looks like a fairly good start but needs some more work to turn it into a great logo. It looks unfinished
I feel if it wasn't as curved at the top, it wouldn't read as an F as well. I'll experiment with it a bit.
Indeed, but as such, it feels a bit too forced. That's why I think the wrench thing would work better.
I would enjoy this more if that beautiful orange previously used was incorporated.
