Brief from client
Client wants something simple and recognizable.
MineThemes is a website which sells premium WordPress themes. When designing the logo, we formed the letter M using a combination of a mattock, a tool that miners use for digging and the tunnels, which is another connection with mining.

Yup, this look pretty great.
Two observations, though:
First, I think the pickaxe could look simpler without that square at the intersection of the handle and the head,
Second, The kerning needs to be fixed.
Other than that, god job, as always.

This is how logo looks without square. I`m not sure is it recognizable enough, what do you think?
Yea doesn't look enough like a pic axe now, was worth a try though
I beg to differ! I find more subtle like this. What you can do though is to have the end of the handle popping out at the top.
I agree with Shawali, keep the top portion of the pick axe. This is a great piece. No missing the T or the M or the fact that it is related to mining, even without the words you can see that.
My only negative is that it doesn't relate to web page creation per se. But I would imagine used in context it will be quite obvious.
