This logo is certainly very sweet....but I'm guessing your target audience is adults??? In which, this is missing the mark. I also worry that it will not produce well at small sizes (like and app!).
I quite enjoy your font, but I'm not sure it works with the missing letter concept.
I'm sorry, but for me this is a re-work. (unless your target audience is different than I assume?)

thanks for your feedback. You're right, the target audience are adults. With regard to size, displaying it in the app is not regarded as too big an issue, it's only displayed once on the splash screen. I will definitely reconsider the symbolism and the font (specifically with regard to the missing "e"). I appreciate your input!

If it was adults on swings, then maybe this would work better for adults socializing?

I love your font and a symbol, too. I had a thought about it... What if you add more swings ( two more ) and place a pair of teenagers and then adults on each one of them, as that swoosh goes or even make the swings hanging from some letters in your font. So, kids are a bottom swing, then teenagers and adults - that will solidify an idea how we gradually grow in our life with all of our moments to share. You are off to a great start here.

And one more thing wants to add to my comment - could you make a start part of a leg of " M " and top part of " S " tacked in as photographs being placed on a pages of the album? What do you think of that?
