Brief from client
Logo for a hipster brand of socks. To be used also on the package (the thing that clips the socks together).
Client wants the brand name written together with small m.

Love the concept! The font works, nice and timeless. Perhaps a bit to blend for me though. Also the overall balance is a bit off to me, it feels very heavy at the top as the text is pushing the logo downwards. Then again thats just me, I think this works really well with the brief you gave.
I'm really liking this as well. I will say, however, when I initially saw it, I thought it was maybe a clothing brand for infants (mainly because of the little heart-shaped sock), but it certainly has a hipster aesthetic. My one little nitpick though is the type doesn't seem to be lined up properly. As you can see in the image below, it's a little off to the right. Other than that though, this is great!
I see where you are coming from with the infants.
Oh, good eye. I will have to check the version I am gonna send to the client way more carefully. :)
Ok- don't fret about the thumbs down- this is a pretty good idea, and I can see the "hipster" look you are going for.....BUT =)
The font isn't working- it's too bland. Also, making all the line/stoke weights match up will unify this logo.
I stole a quick reference off google to show what I am trying to explain. You have all the elements- the clean, simplified, geometric based look for the style, but it falls short- and mostly the font is whats bringing it down.
I think this is a good start and I can see it on packaging- but you need to keep refining for this to be perfect.
When something is this simple- everything has to be spot on!
Great work, but the typo doesn't work that well with that circle. There may be a simpler and more compact way to handle it. Also, you may want to consider a less minimalistic color scheme.
Thanks! You are right, now I see it.
For the color scheme I forgot to say that the client prefered bw because the printing.
