Brief from client 

A logo for a friend of mine. She owns a hair studio.

You know, some might think it's a bit tacky to substitute letters for objects, but I kinda like the charm of this one. Keep in mind, however, the thin line will dissappear when you scale this down. Might want to either thicken it or eliminate it. Same goes for the scissor's detail; I'd silhouette this thing altogether, but that's just me.

Rather than continuing the word out, however, I'd have the scissor/comb "N" be the symbol above and type out "Nadia's" above it.

Keep it up.
