I think it is a good idea, but it isn't working here.
I would do the negative thing on only one letter and work on the execution.
The name obviously has "negative" connotations, but that's up to you.
i understand, but does adding a graphic element will be better, or staying on the typography execution??!!
With photography, it is difficult to create a graphic mark that isn't cliche'.. You would need to be very creative.
And if you are already doing this much with the typography, I don't think a graphic is necessary, and could even make the overall design worse.
This doesn't work like this.
I think you should play with the whole word not just random letters.
The idea is good because correctly executed makes the logo look smart, catchy, and attractive.
The problem here is precisely the execution. The left side of the negative "E" is a straight line, the right one is a curve. Perhaps you should try with a square font and see if the idea still works.
You could also try to make your own font like Holitter Block or Someshin.
Agree that a graphic element would be a cliche. If you're going to go with the idea you have, watch the kerning on the letters, it looks a little off. For example the "G and A" or the "N and E, versus the "V and E"
