This still looks like a logo for a clothing company that caters to rock climbers or ATVs. Perhaps it isn't the logo as much as it is the name. You say they are a rock band, go out and look at rock band logos so you can get a feel for how they convey "rock band." I think you have become too married to these mountains. I don't think the backwards Fs are a bad idea, but this whole think lacks the rock band edge.

I see the logo working for an indie band with a laid back sound. Considering what others have said, are mountains only related to the band's name or do they have a greater signifigance?
