old americana band

This is really interesting but it is far to be done.

I'm a sucker for everything typographic and americana, but the end result is underwhelming. It's a bit too obvious that you crudely drew the letters and then distorted them with the warp effect.

You should really take the time to hand draw each letters without the help of any filters or effects which in the end are only crutches that don't help you improve your design skills.

You need to spend a few hours finding the right curves and ligatures to achieve that really cool americana feel you're going for.

The symbol feels totally out of place graphically and just sits there like a sore thumb. Do you really need it?

Colorwise, that bright beige is a bit dull and isn't great to look at on a white background.
