Brief from client 

This wasn't a logo design for a client, only an assignment for my Digital Illustration class. The assignment was simple; To create a simple, subtle logo for what would be a 'classy' golf resort. Fictional or non-fictional.

I think you got the good idea, but needs more work. The grey lines are too thin. Remove or rethink how to use them. Logo needs more green.

This is a MUCH better submission than version 2, it seems like your going backwards. revise the logo so it becomes more clearer to the audience. also the grey lines are not needed, they do not add anything to the design, remember to watch your kerning this is very important in logo design.
