Personal Logo

Brief from client
#E8FF00 is the hex code for the color that I have decided to brand as my color.
I'm not a big fan of judging by colors because it usually reveals personal tastes, not objective opinions but I really don't like the dirty-neon-yellow here.
Will you always use it on a black background?
On the symbol part you have some problems too (in my humble opinion). If you are referring to the turntables then the stem of the d and j are too long. But anyway, thats an overused concept altogether. I'd try something more interesting with this letters.
I'm not referring to turn tables. DJ is my name not my profession. Color is a personal preference, especially on my personal brand logo. I think I should like the colors of my own logo regardless of who else does.
Of course you should! I was just asking because I had a lot of problems with printing this particular shades of yellow and never comes out nicely. Also, on white backgrounds may be a little strange. Just helpful questions, not trying to attack you. Peace, DJ :)
I wasn't taking it personal. Just clarifying what it is for, and why the neon yellow/green. A lot of times it will show up black on white, and I have run into some similar issues with it printing too yellow sometimes so I have to alter it a bit.
I think the colors look good. (personally) but the color is not a big deal. you can always change it depending on what you are printing it on, or displaying it with.
I do think the concept is a little to familiar thought. it reminds me of the flash and dreamweaver logos from a while back. But i do like the j inside the d. it is creative.

This works much better. I read "dj". Is that correct?
Yeah, I have gone by D.J. my whole life.
What are your opinions on personal logos? Are they worth all the effort when searching for jobs after school?

Keep experimenting.

Nice logo ... colors ... not too nice :) ... for a DJ ... you need something more vibrant ;)
Thanks, but I'm not a DJ. My name is DJ.
