To create a highly impact full identity for a newly formed festival. The mark must look playful and colourful and have an energetic feel.

Sorry but if I am being honest I dont like anything about this. The symbol makes no sense, plus the logo is just to massive especially if you are going to put it on marketing material. Because it is going to spand over to much of the other art work, and when you shrink it down your not going to be able to read the type.
Not really working for me. Going with a nice retro design would probably be better here.
