It's getting better :) I'd say make his eye blue instead of red (he looks a little rabid otherwise) and work on his little dangle arms and you're close!
Na, i preferred version 5. I don't like the way the kangoroo is designed, especially the feet which look like baboushes.
Same with the colors, the blue/orange combo worked better.
I didn't even notice the color change, I guess my mind was just assuming it was the same, but you're right on that, the previous colors were better.
I like the colors, black stroke and scale of the kangaroo in version 5 but like the clarity of the outline in this version.
