Brief from client
The main idea was to offer someone a "gift to eat" (cakes, cookies, jams) that evoked their best flavor memories, by rethinking old grandma's recipes and giving them a gourmet touch.
The gift is wrapped up in a cloth, in a traditional japanese technique that uses knots and folds to protect, transport and offer food as a gift.
The concept is presented in the logo by the cloth knot that holds the fork and the spoon together (the way most of the western world eats), topping a gift box with the lettering.

Too complicated. The font work is way too messy and is barely readable.
The symbol looks too flimsy, especially the ribbon bow. It looks like it's been in 3 minutes.
