Logo for small company, which is dedicated to making and selling cupcakes.

Colors: red, pink and lilac.

Styles: feminine, organic, dynamic.

Like watercolor

I honestly think you should lose the background altogether. That little cupcake is adorable, but that background is just making your logo a big blob. In black it is just really distracting.

I think the background could be cute for packaging, but for the logo I say keep it clean.

Yeah, this is really good. The cupcake is supercute. One thing, nudge that "V" a little bit to the right and tighten up its kerning. Perhaps the 'R' a tiny bit too. I think it works well on the solid black background, in a deep red color. The gradients won't work everywhere...

I agree with my esteemed colleagues. The ice cream stain like background has to go. It brings nothing good to the logo and just kills the cool thing you got going on between the wordmark and the cute symbol.

I agree- lose the background, it's taking away from a well designed symbol and type. But the first thing that I noticed was the spacing between V-elvet. The R-ed is not as noticeable but needs closing in a bit as well.
Loving the cupcake guy- simple and cute.
