Brief from client
I am a 2nd grade student of a media design training. We had to make a logo for ourselves as an assignment. I need some feedback so I can optimize my logo.

A bit too simplistic for me. Why is your name barred? What is this supposed to say about you?
Let me guess: you didn't spend too much time working on this, did you? =)
I wonder - why did you crossed out your first and last name? " B " needs to adjust in " RUBEN " to look uniform with the rest of the design. Unless it has something to do with a rail road business - I don't see a point of having that over your family heritage. Can you come up with much clever idea for your personal ID logo? Can you try to work with initials to see how far can you push it?
Yes, the vertical lines provide a negative connotation in my opinion, as if you're crossing out your name. I'm sure you don't want to convey that message.
Put some more ideas to paper and try again!
I have no comment to this.
