Lets try changing the foot with an part of the "w" , making the whole symbol rounder, not sharper. the actual running guy has a problem with his right hand ?
I think I'll agree with the "w" thing using the leg or foot :) and the running guy... Im trying to draw the letter "R" out of it that's why the hands are a bit unusual .. though Im not sure if I did a good R impression out of that symbol .. what do you think?
This symbol and the darker colors work much better than the previous version in my opinion. I still think the symbol is along the lines of stuff we've seen a bunch before, but oh well! I think this is a big improvement from the first version - a much stronger image without the gradient!
And I guess I don't see the R without looking for it- I guess I just saw the dude and half wondered what he was doing with his one hand raised up and bent like that. (But I don't think it necessarily has to look like an R to work!?)
I dont think either ;) its just that while I was trying to find a good shape for the running man, I found out I could somehow make it look like R and so adding another element on the shape .. the bent hand .. okay my bad, I think my chosen angle for the runner rushing forward isnt that recognizable or, not at all .. but heres what im trying to shape it up for (see photo below) .. and, I may have exaggerated the bent hand (a bit) .. but its not that bad isnt it ..
I saw the "R" but i have tons of IMAGINATIOOOON I also saw a unicorn riding a mystical foot who was painting a picture of george washington in the nude... but thats just me...
Sure, there are a few things that I could say. Adjust this, change that, modify those, etc etc... but my only legitimate criticism is that the logo looks more athletic, sporty and active for a company that sells or manufactures shoes, sandals and bags. Overall, the logo lends itself towards a more active lifestyle or market, no?
I can see were you're standing :) However that's exactly what its meant for, more active lifestyle/audience as you say .. for a company that sells shoes, sandals, bags for which the audience are like travelers, 'outdoor-ish' people and the likes, do you think I've overdone the logo by opting with these symbols? .. Im kinda stuck on it right now ..
