Hi! My immediate reaction is that I didn't get "beach dance party" from your logo at first glance. I thought maybe construction-like company, those folks that blast the dirt off of brick walls.
I'd suggest looking for a softer, more playful font with edges that are not so sharp. And if you're trying to incorporate the sun, make the interpretation rounder, because currently it comes across as a star. When I think of a Beach Party I think more summery colors, beach balls, lemon yellow, blue water and surfboards. Maybe you could do a sort of word mark that incorporates an element of summer, beach or dance. Sorry to be so tough, but critiques are to make us better designers.

This does not tell me anything, I do not see sense.
Keep trying you can get a good idea.
