Full redesign of logo, pretty much free reign.
this is my first draft for this, and my first real attempt at a logo design, ive done a little work in the past, but not much. looking for any critiques or comments.

this is the old logo, they had asked to maybe keep some of the elements (colors mostly) similar, but a refresh to the design.
Ok, I give you thumbs up for all - you're lucky... Tell you why: I like the glossy font - gives a bit of new fresh look for the logo. Ok, the swoosh can be re-done a bit, maybe use less colors, stay with two. Then change the typeface for "Miles city....." I'd put these in black or so.... and smaller. (Not very important info....) So: - lets see your next one... But ... nice work...!

I would change all the less important info like the location to black and maybe change the fonts on the lower info "glass & Paint - location"

Sorry to be the party pooper, but this is a terrible logo.
The font work is horrible, with all these gradients and multiple strokes. The font choice is not working.
Don't put so much info in your logo. Just the name of your business.
