Brief from client
they wanted something simple [not too crowded] and inspiring, easier to read and print on small and large scales.
The client is from Egypt.
in this logo i wanted to create something abstract. i wanted this shape to be in between a pillar up to the sky and a lotus flower [which represents Egyptian identity].
but i'm still stuck with those lines !

Your fonts are not working together. And you mentioned this logo working at small and large scales- but I think those thin lines are not going to be very visible at a small scale. I like the idea of incorporating pillars and the lotus flower, but I don't think this layout achieves that.
I like the minimalist design.
