Brief from client
Hi guys and girls.
I'm playing in this band called Speedle Mood, and I get to create our logo.
Those who know me know that of course I'll go full hand -lettering =)
To give you a bit of context, we play covers going from Guns 'n Roses to Portishead, via Johnny Cash and Mumford & Sons.
Tell me what you guys think!
I must have done a few hundred sketches for this one, and though there are a few bits and bobs to fix, I'm pretty happy where this is going.
I'm far from having a firm grasp on the whole hand-lettering thing, but it's a nice feeling to see the progression, sketch after sketch after sketch =)

You've nailed the hand lettering on this one. Nice name as well :) If I were to change it at all, I'd make the 'O's a little less squashed - you have the space.
Generally though, it's good to go. It's a very strong piece,especially relative to your standards of work... :)
Very nice. Want to create our band's DRIVEWIRE logo next? :)
I like this although I share the previous comments. Something to add, I think we should make some adjustment to the tail of the last "D" I can see that it looks a little deformed, anyway is a good job.
