This is looking quite good.
My only concern is with the main font. I find it unnecessarily modern and it kinda fighting for attention with the symbol. Also, the tracking is too tight and the kerning is slightly off. That A touching ever so lightly the tip of the M leg and being a pixel away from the B is making me cringe =)
I would also remove the tagline from the basic version of the logo. But you can always have several iterations, with different compositions and elements.
All in all, this is a job pretty well done.
Yes, this is close to done.
In the symbol, I'm not sure whether it's because it's a bit small, but I'd like to see a pixel of extra space in between the shapes. It just looks a hair too tight.
I agree with the typography, it doesn't fit the logo very much. It looks a bit too futuristic.
Good job so far.
I don't get the symbol at all, it's too generic and confusing- has too many parts that don't fit together. and the gradient makes it even more difficult to visually receive. it sends a message of chaos, IMO.
Sorry, but on issue where you stated " parts don't fit together " - they fit perfectly.
I agree with Félix on this one, the parts fit perfectly well.
I think what Jeff is getting at is the type doesn't work well with the symbol, and other elements.
Jeff was commenting on a logo only, sorry.
I was, and yeah, I know it fits perfectly as a puzzle would, but with the lines in between and the gradient, etc. It doesn't mesh well at all. that;s what I am saying. It's a big hot mess to me. no flow, too many parts, too complicated..
the type and logo don't go together. I agree with that.
Im not really feeling this logo... The font is ultra modern yet the symbol looks mega dated, i dont know if the colours are correct as i think you have have uploaded a CMYK instead of an RGB but they look really bright! - too bright! The other "problem" with the symbol is that it looks really heavy, like its weighing down the whole logo on the left. I am also finding that the symbol and the text look a little disconnected, like they dont belong with each other. Sorry that i cant see much good in this logo. I think it needs a lot more work
thank you. couldn't agree more. on top of that, The symbol and the text also don't seem together at all.
Agreed...at first glance it looks great. But the more you look at it, the more it looks like 2 different logos stuck together. I actually like the icon, but there are too many bells and whistles on the type. The cutouts on the R and B are awkward, and the A without the crossbar has become WAY overdone. I'd get rid of that font and find a nice, clean font that communicates the strength and reliability of the company. Then you'll have a nice clean logo that communicates your message clearly.
